The community's solution for school, work and/or leisure purposes

Cyclescheme is working with a network of independent bike shops including Clive Mitchell Cycles (Truro), CycleLogic (Helston) and Ricci Bike Chain (Redruth) amongst others, who already participate in the scheme.

This package is available to UK tax payers who pay PAYE.  [Please note that the self-employed cannot take part in the scheme]  So why not get involved and encourage your staff to get onto their bikes?  Benefits include:-

!!  FREE CONSULTATION  !!

In addition to:-

  1. A level of fitness 10 years younger than it claims on their birth certificates
  2. Reduced stress levels which in turn means improved performance and greater productivity ...
  3. By leading a healthier lifestyle, it also means you loose less days through sickness
  4. And the scheme is run in strict accordance to the government’s green travel plan
  5. It's a win/win situation, you reduce costs and they get both a tax free bike (and a free** assessment/consultation if purchased through CMC)

With every bike that is leased under the scheme from CMC, if you would like a little help as possibly you've not ridden on road in a while, I am happy to come and do a **free assessment of your cycling skills and to advise you of your options.  Also to help you plan your route into work or wherever you need to be either professionally or during your free time if you have a specific project in mind.  And for maps to use for your route planning, take a look at http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/oswebsite

Please note however that whilst for all **CMC customers the assessment is free although I am more than happy to travel further afield, there would be a nominal fee to cover basic travel costs!!

Training costs for any subsequent 1:1 coaching, which would include a full written report and certificate if you achieve the required standard, start from £25 for a 1 hour session or £45 for 2 hours and the minimum anticipated time to do a Level 3 Advanced course taking in multi lanes, traffic lights and roundabouts is 2 hours.  For more details about the different levels of training please go to http://www.rsct.org.uk/pages/national_standards.htm

Just pick up a leaflet when you pick up your new bike ... and to make an appointment please either click on the link below or email me at w.creed@rsct.org.uk., alternatively call my mobile 07762 493662 although there will be times when I do switch it off, either in lectures or when I'm instructing so a text message is the next best way of being able to get in touch!
