Setting up a FREE Dr Bike session

Dr Bikes are run by trained mechanics who perform health checks for bikes at green events and workplaces.  Given sufficient notice, if you are running a special event and would like someone to come along and run a Dr Bike session for you,  please get in touch ...........

What are they for/do they achieve?

They are run to give bikes a safety check and do basic repairs and maintenance such as fixing punctures and adjusting brakes and gears, as well as advising on potential problems and giving tips on looking after bikes.  Dr Bikes are a great way of attracting people to your green event or of encouraging employees to get their bikes out of the shed and start cycling to work.

I've found two on line maintenance sites .. however they are both American and it is worth remembering that because they drive on the other side of the road to us, their brakes like those on European bikes, will be the other way around - their front brake is on the left NOT the right!  There are bound to be other subtle differences too so be warned!
