These are entire families who trained which
shows how it is no longer something just for the children still in primary
school .. Bikeability is for EVERYONE !!
A teenage novice on a bike for the first time since she was so small, she couldn't remember having done so .. going, going ..
GONE!! She remembered how to pedal very quickly albeit a little on the wobbly side initially but for things like braking we went back to basics ..
There is a peregrin falcon's nest on the rock face ..
Discussing the nest with RSPB volunteers
Ooops .. she's gone again!! About 1.5 miles from the car park and she is still going strong on an uphill incline as well!!
Still going strong .. it's almost five miles to the top though.
The tunnel at the top .. our turning point
Playing coming back down with mum on the old platform and her daughter prefering to stay on the main track ..
Mother and daughter reunited ..
One very proud mother!!
A colleague on the trail from the Cider Press back to base ..
With our novice just behind him ..
It's curious but doing the BikeLinks training on the Hoe tends to be dad and child, rarely mum yet it will mum the total novice wanting to learn ..
