Starting with a group we both trained over half term and then going onto John O'Groats which we arrived at in beautiful sunshine but left again about an hour later in rain and hail ... heading down to Inverness, along the Caledonian Canal, over Glencoe and Rannock Moor to Bridge of Orchy and then 16 miles downhill to Tarbet the north en d of Loch Lomond. Then through to Hamilton on the cycle path, Lockerbie, Gretna and across into England. Kendal over Shap, Lancaster, Wigan, Stretton and Cheshire. Ludlow, Hereford, Monmouth when we left England and went over the border into Wales, back into England across the old Severn bridge and down through Somerset to Devon and finally Cornwall .......... it was a good ride and certainly couldn't be described as boring with all the mayhem that went with it, we'll dine out on it for a while yet LOL
